Is EPDM Rubber Sheet Oil-Resistant?

EPDM rubber sheets are made from EPDM, or Ethylene-Propylene Diene Rubber, which is a non-polar rubber. For this reason, it does not resist oil. However, EPDM rubber sheets can withstand vegetable oils, animal oils, and hydraulic oils. Therefore, it's advisable to avoid contact with petroleum oils and fuel oils when using EPDM rubber sheets, as exposure can cause swelling and rapid degradation.
